“For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face:Now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known” (1Corinthians 13:12)
When I look in the mirror what do I see, but only me
through a glass so dimly. Sometimes I can see a
faint resemblance of thee.
Oh if I could see a reflection of you,
Oh how beautiful I would be.
Every day is the same. I go on unchanged, the
people don’t have any faces. And I cannot see
what’s right in front of me. A life that is shattered to pieces.
I’ve passed the same house for so many years.
I never knew it was there, till it burned down to the
ground, and the whole family perished.
Lord I don’t want to see, only me, when I look in the mirror.
Lord I can’t remain and go on the same. Make me into
your image.
Lord let me see a reflection of you instead of me.
