Teresa Poucher

I’m so thankful God made dogs. ‘Talk about glad to see you when you come back home! They will do a song and a dance for you. Do you think they are worried about your political views or beliefs? They don’t care about your stature, looks, clothes, income, job, or intelligence.
A dog will offer you unconditional love, all for just some food, water, and a little attention. Your dog can read your emotions and act appropriately; even knowing when you are sick, and it will stay by your side.
Maybe you don’t have a dog, but you do have a God! He has an unconditional love for you. It doesn’t matter how imperfect you may be, God still loves you. He is longing to forgive and desires you to come to Him.
We got our dogs as puppies and they were so cute, or we rescued them when they needed help. Whatever the case, we fell in love. It is hard not to love a dog that is crazy about you.
I used to pray and ask God to let others fall in love with Him, but then I changed that prayer. God, let others know how much You love them. To know God is to love Him.
I hope my dog doesn’t show me more love than I manifest to my God, don’t you?
My prayer is that we… “May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.” (Ephesians 3:18-19)
I loved your devotion this morning! I love all of them though!
